Pallet Wood Jewellery Box

Made from 100% pallet wood boards sandwiched and glued together to form a single block which is then carved to freehand organic shapes with a band saw. The shapes are inspired by the new characteristics of the wood block to carve that are born from the imperfections of the different boards. Minimal waste of timber from the block also influences the form.

The interior of the jewellery box drawer is lined with black felt.
Characteristic of this piece is the hole left from a knot in the timber and that is used as handle for the drawer.

Rustic look appearance finished with Tung oil and Bee’s wax.
